Tools You Can Use

For Employers
The cost of traffic-related crashes to employers is an estimated $55 billion each year in direct costs, lost time and workers' compensation.

The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS)
NETS is an employer-led public/private partnership dedicated to improving the safety and health of employees, their families, and members of the communities in which they live and work, by reducing the number of traffic crashes that occur both on and off the job.

US Department of Labor's Working Partners for an Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace Program
Working Partners raises awareness about the impact drugs and alcohol have on the workplace and helps employers and employees work together to ensure safety on the road, in the office and at a worksite. Individuals most likely to drive impaired—those between the ages of 21 and 34—are well represented in the workplace and provide a captive audience for prevention messages.
