Kwanzaa Holiday Planner 2006
Tips on Using this Holiday Promotional Planner

Kwanzaa is a celebration of family, community and culture. During this holiday season, let's give Kwanzaa the special attention that it deserves, and protect our heritage by not driving while impaired. December is one of the deadliest months of the year due to traffic crashes and fatalities involving an impaired driver or a motorcycle operator.

This mini-planner provides you with some marketing material templates that can be tailored and distributed to fit your local needs and objectives during Kwanzaa, and particularly Ujima, the day that focuses on responsibility. This is particularly timely since December is National Drunk and Drugged Driving Awareness Month.

During this month, traffic safety advocates promote responsibility through the "Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk" message. This year, we encourage all to "Give the Gift of a Lift" by designating a sober driver, and celebrating those who volunteer to be designated drivers.
